Breed Suitability Test
The WPBTCA offers a Breed Suitability Test (BST) designed to identify dogs of sound temperament suitable to the American pit bull terrier and American Staffordshire terrier. Among the benefits of having a dog pass this test is that the BST can help determine which dogs should or should not be included in a breeding program – it’s also a great tool to help an owner feel satisfied that his or her dog is sound of temperament.
Our BST includes basic obedience, a short agility course, traffic safety, neutral and aggressive stranger scenarios and more.
For complete BST rules, click here for a PDF of our member handbook.
Please check back for a list of dogs that have completed the BST.
